here, I (along with others) will be posting regular reviews for iPhone apps.
Just for some background - I am a new iPhone user, non-Mac user, and the iPhone is my first ipod device (and my second smartphone device). I am coming from a Handspring/Palm/Treo background.
I will be trying to post a range of reviews - from entertainment apps to prductivity apps, from games to lifestyle apps (and everything in between). The majority of my reviews will
probably be focused on games and entertainment, but I will try to mix it up.
My daughter loves to play on my iPhone as well, so I will try to include kid-oriented reviews for programs that kids may enjoy, such as
this one. For reference, my daughter is 5 years old so I will focus on that age group. Of course, some people may not feel at all comfortable letting their kids play with their iPhones.
I wll also be checking the "top 25", hot apps, and similar lists that appear in iTunes for apps to review.
Lastly, I would also like to try to work in review requests. If there is an application which you are interested in, but don't want to try before you hear about it, post on this thread and I will try to get around to reviewing it (I can't guarantee having the review done within a certain time frame, though). I will probably generally focus on paying apps, since if it is free there is no reason not to try it yourself!
