I have been scouring the inet to find a decent bedside clock radio that has the following required specs:
Good to decent A/M and F/M Radio reception, good to decent sound output, line in jack for other MP3 Player, Line out jack for headphone or pillow speaker, adjustable clock display the I don't have to put celophane over to dim at night. These fairly basic clock radio requirements then need to be compatible with an iPhone 3-G to minimize interference and allow basic phone capabilities. I use my iPhone for podcasts and music and like to listen to at night, as well as listen to AM and FM broadcasts. What is the bid deal with offering a Headphone jack. I don't want to use the iPhone jack as I want it for AM and FM as well. I have looked at all the iHOme products and none have the features I am looking for, mostly the headphone jack issue. Help would be greatly appreciated. |

It is a funny thing about the Headphone jack. I did find the BA unit below which does have a headphone jack, but is not totally iPhone compliant. If I am going to spend more money to buy a good clock radio I want something the works well with this awsome phone.
You can view this unit at Amazon. Boston Acoustics HDUOIMDNT Horizon Duo-I System |

Acceptable (or very good) sound yes, but none of them play great sound because the iPhone doesn't produce it in the first place - no MP3 player is capable of that! ![]() |
