3GS and Mophie and mypower

I wanted to see if anyone else had issues with their 3gs and air juice pack. I had some strange alerts and apple store said that it has been determined to not be compatible with 3GS.
I loved it and now struggle for power. I am close to buying the mypower from tekkeon, any feedback Is appreciated.

I dont have one but my friend has it and he cant stop talking about it. I think you got a defective unit.

Nope.....apple store said they are finding it isn't compatible with 3GS. Ruining battery.
