3g coverage better than on at&t map?
yes it is... i live on long island, between the Route 110 corridor (where 3g ends to the west) and the Hamptons (where 3g ends to the east) -- in a 3g-less area... however... when i got my iphone on friday, and got it all setup and running, was pleasantly surprised that the 3g icon was on... but I'm not supposed to have 3g...
apparently the Long Island hole is filled already with 3g...  Last edited by Libuff : 07-13-2008 at 11:32 AM.

I'm pretty sure that the map has not been updated in a while. I'm guessing that the ground covered with 3g increases often.
