I agree with your comments. And,I too was hoping to trade in my Curve for the Bold. The endless delays is the reason I have the iPhone today. Not crazy about it, lots of flaws, but what can you do?? I've learned that no cell phone is EVER perfect. But you have to respect Apple for pumping out updates like nobody's business in effort to make it perfect. No other company does that with such speed. Not Palm, RIM, HTC, etc...

I had the first gen iPhone as well and I can not complain about the keyboard what so ever. I can type faster on it than any Palm or WM device I've ever owned.

So many people forget the WHOLE big picture when comparing the 2 devices. the iPhone is MILES ahead of the blackberry in terms of overall package.

Sure you can throw some features down on the table and on paper the blackberry wins. We could be simple minded APES and say the BB would have a 3.0 Megapixel camera and the iPhone has 2.0 So the BB is better right?? i mean..*cough* am i right?

What i love the most about it all is the easiest feature that everyone rushes to forgetting. THE IPOD.

no phone will ever compare to the IPOD and iTunes in terms of Media/Music/and Movies.

got an iPhone? want to download a new song that you heard? or a friend mentioned to you? Sure.. just hope into a free wifi area and go purchase the song.
got an iPhone and heard about the new cool app that came out? but you wont be home until you fly back because you're out on travel? cool.. NP just download it and try it out while your out on the Go.

These are simple things here people.. i could go all day with this. but i'm not going to it's not even worth all the typing...

the simple truth is blackberry fans who think that the iClones are better then the iPhone are very very mistaken.

I don't think pressing on a screen is easier than just touching the screen. Also, doesn't the Samsung Glyde have a haptic screen? My friend has it and I hate it. It like you have to squeeze the screen or something. I know the Thunder is going to be better than the Glyde, but if it's the same technology, I won't like it. Better off calling it a "push screen".

Everyone seems to be making speculations, and hating on the berry. Lets just wait until it comes out before we start making claims here. Until you use it, you have no way of knowing it will be better or not.

As for the glyde, im not sure if it has that screen or not. Either way, I wont make guesses about the touch screen until I use it. Hopefully by monday, verizon will make the announcement about it. It is rumored that they will monday..

The website shouldnt matter. Every device deserves a fair shot. Making claims with no proof is pointless. I see posts about rim phones being failures aswell. If this were the case then they would not have more than 50% of the smart phone arena. So lets just see how this device does people.

Of course it matters....... people on a iPhone site are more than likely on it because they either have the device or like it... No different than if I were to go to Crackberry forums, which I know you go on, I'd get bashed for owning a iPhone by most of the users. And please don't tell me that I wouldn't. It's simply because they like their device so they defend it. Second of all that pretty picture you posted means nothing since RIM has been around a lot longer than the iPhone. So that holds no water with me. Nor does it matter to me honestly. And how many different models of phone does RIM have? Exactly. Go find stats on a single RIM phone comparable to the iPhone..... then we will talk. Think the Bold will sell as well? And I promise this Thunder will not come close. Have a nice day...

Exactly. I have a Crackberry account. There are only a few there that actually like or have "respect" for the iPhone, all the rest hate it.

I can make whatever speculation I want. The Thunder is basically a knock-off touch screen. It is a giant button. That is all. You don't touch it, you press on it. I know it will be a good device, but I will not like it. I know it will NOT come remotely close to iPhone 3G sales.

Plenty of people have iphones at the bb site. Their is even a dedicated section for the iphone fyi.. That picture means plenty, to everyone that mentions how crappy, and or how rim cant make good phones, and that wasnt necessarily for you, it was for the people mentioning how crappy rim is, weather you care about it or not. Also, we are talking about a phone that has some similar stats to the iphone. Its called the storm

I never said you couldnt make one, I said you shouldnt, until you test the device! Do whatever you want, its just a comment. As for sales, it probably wont do what the iphone does, I can agree there. Rim isnt going to hype this phone up like apple does all their products. No need, they sell themselves. Apple being a much smaller company (phone wise), needs to in order to compete..
