There's a few good things that Android is doing. Amazon MP3 store, pretty neat. The GPS compass feature is really really cool. Push Gmail, I wish Google would add that to the iPhone. It still looks like an alpha or beta interface though, just doesn't have the polish that the iPhone does. I'm excited now because Apple has a little bit of competition, which means consumers get new devices.

I think that the main feature of the g1 is it's cohesion and integration with google online
Services. Googles Internet services are amazing, and hopefully they are able to make all online functions available through the g1. Quick question: if gmail push has been enabled for the g1, than what about it's hardware or software allows it to have this push? Cuz I've really been waiting for push gmail on my iphone for a long time.... |

Yup, there it is, number three: Killer Cloud Connectivity.
Is it likely for us to see some sort of agreement between Google's online services and the iPhone? Because that's the only thing I can see on the Android side of the list thats bugging me. |
