I've had the Storm for three months. My overall impression has been OK. Clearly not an iPhone. I have found that the Storm complements my iPhone in many areas where AT&T was better off with TDMA. Outside the big cities, AT&T's coverage drops to EDGE. In many of those same areas, my Storm remains on EVDO-RA.
I currently use my Storm as a tethered modem with my HP netbook. Works perfectly for that purpose. My Storm also lets me make phone calls (yes phone calls) inside my home. With my iPhone, I have to go outside to make a call even though it shows the area as 3G. Tough choices.

Hello All, I too am a ex Blackberry user and just recently got my first G3 and I wish I did it a long time ago. I always had a iPod for my travels because I do travel a lot but with my iPhone, not only do I have my tunes on it, I got lot of great apps that is not offered for BB that helps me while I am away. I do wish that G3 was available in all the countries I visit but I am sure in time they will
