Smile The storm is over

Hi to all, Well I finally made the jump from the BB storm to the G3 and so far all is well. The Storm is a good system but still needs work before it will preform like the G3. I currently am running an I Mac 20, Mac book 15, and various I pods as well as the BB 8830 for business. I am interested in jailbreak, can anyone offer any advise.

Spatzs,
aka, pma at crackberry

Looks like im not the only one that got fedup with the storm and verizon. 3 storms in 5 weeks and the last one sent wouldnt even stay on. Constantly "leaked mempry" i guess they call it, untill it gets under 20mb and crashes. I love the iphone it does so much more than i ever would have though. Cant wait till mms is standard.
Did you but the storm full pop or are you stuck with a $300 early term fee as well?

Welcome! I lasted one week with the Storm. That clicking screen is just odd and I worried about dirt or liquid getting behind it. Really a shame because Blackberry has some very nice features.

I had the Storm also for a few weeks and actually like it pretty good except for the fact that it was a poor phone - the ear piece sounded bad and the outgoing sounded muffled. I liked the display and the fact that you could make many changes to the view to suit your needs - but I agree with Txdogs about the worry of the screen getting junked up in the long run. There are a lot of complaints now popping up over on Crackberry about dust under the screen.

I am patiently awaiting iPhone v3 hopefully this June.

I bought a BB Bold for myself back in December and then bought a Storm for my girlfriend as a Christmas present. I ended up liking the Storm better and thought about buying an unlocked one but ended up going with the iPhone.

the iPhone owns both'em by far..

It seems to me like the majority of Verizon phones are sent back various times all with similar problems. Anyone else agree?
