Not to take this off topic but did either of you see the article on Appleinsider I think... about how the new iMacs performance is not better than the last models?

The CPU performance is the same; the GPU performance with the new Nvidia chipset will no doubt be better.
When Snow Leopard hits, that GPU will also boost general purpose computing via OpenCL. So, overall, a good boost for new buyers, probably not a compelling upgrade for last gen owners, unless you *really* need the GPU for gaming or video work.
