I always go with crucial or corsair. Kingston is pretty good too. I would NEVER buy memory form Apple. They charge like 4x the retail price.

I believe I paid 65 or 70 (2x2GB PC3 1066MHz Patriot) on sale, and haven't had an issue. Higher dollar RAM usually means a denser (more layers) circuit board with less latency. Also, from everything I have read about RAM is that the chips are made and supplied by a small handful of companies.
I used to build my own gaming rigs from scratch and never saw a significant difference in speed, or stability with a less expensive, name brand memory.

I am not sure which one I would be more lost without. My iMac or my iPhone.
