Default Should I? BB Tour Verizon = > Iphone?

I know you get a million of these threads and for that I am sorry...

I currently own a blackberry tour and is it worth switching? I just renewed with verizon a week ago and I can get out of it, with no penalties. I know more about iphones than my friends who even own them.. its quite sad really. Should I give in to the addiction? I would be going from a verizon family shared, to a individual att plan. Is it worth the extra money for kicks? I live in Hawaii and while verizon dominates, att isn't too far behind. The money isn't that big of a problem, but is it really worth it?

I also have an ipod classic 120gb thats a few months old, I could easily craigslist that and buy a 32gb and make out with extra cash.

The only real downfall is, I live in Hawaii and I'm constantly on the beach or doing something active. I'm just afraid of losing/breaking the iphone. Although, I've never lost a phone and only broke one.. Is the extra year of applecare worth it and are there really good warranties through other companies? Replacing the blackberry tour for $90 is much better than paying $400+ for a new iphone. Thats the only thing that scares me lol..

Thanks! Once again.. sorry for the billionth thread.. hell I bet you get more than that.

Mainly for fun(apps, best touch screen, browser, overall feel) and texting, but for business purposes as well. Email and such.

No business apps though.

I gave up my BB and have not looked back....I'm much happier with the iPhone and AT&T!

Yeah dude. I was a BB fanatic. I had a Curve, a Storm and a Bold. After 10 months of relentless Storm issues (I went through 8 in 10 months), I bought out of my VZW acct 14 months early and went to AT&T for a white iPhone 3Gs. I was happy with my decision. Then I jailbroke my iPhone. Umm, Blackberry who? I doubt I'll ever own another RIM device. I don't think there's much of a decision for you. Money is the only thing. Device for device, the iPhone pwns the Tour, and completely devastates the Storm, but the Storm is comparable to a white dog turd with a click screen IMO.

I made the move from my Curve 8900 and seriously won't be going back. RIM devices are in serious need of the imminent 5.0 software to even come close to iPhone's usability.
As others have said, I too miss BBM for international messaging but with Gmail "pushing" even that base is covered.
Do it!

From someone who just recently had to switch from a 3GS to a Tour.. SWITCH TO THE 3GS -- so much better.

Already making the transition. Walked into att just to make sure I wouldn't have to put down a deposit, looks like I'm good to go.

After work, I'm heading to verizon to return this tour and then I'm on my way to the ATT store.

YAY!

I do miss fieldrunners, I can't wait haha.
