Default iPhone 3GS and Blackberry Bold

Hello there,

Little story before I get to my question :-)

I've been using iPhone since 2G, and was pretty satisfied with it. Recently got myself 3GS, and still liked it. Nothing "bad" happened so I could be dissatisfied with the phone itself. I didn't like all the stuff around "Google Voice" and actual iPhone's API, which is badly limited, but at the end, it does not make my existing phone bad, so it's not biggie for me at this moment.

But also, recently, I got myself Blackberry Bold. It was a hard "move" from the iPhone, but I wanted to explore new territory, and boy, I did like part of it! I really loved much better battery life, the real keyboard and email - actual fast email, which can have different ringtones, can be reliable! (I do have to have reliable email, as I do a lot of emailing everywhere).

UI and browsing and everything else was so-so, about the same or sometimes not even close to what iPhone has to offer.

So, my currently problem is that I hate to have two phones. But have hard time ditching one to another. If only I'd have any possibility to improve email on the iPhone... are there are apps for that you know? Anything is possible to do here? Or the only way out is to jailbreak the phone, lose the warranty and use those apps? Which may make your phone unreliable, and slow?

It's not really a solution -- I have two email accounts - and at least one of them I simply cannot forward anywhere else. Last but not least - what kills me -- is that I just cannot hear this dying "beep" which iPhone gives me for the incoming email. Why the heck can't I change it to something louder?

So it looks no apps for that, no cure ;-(
