Official TiPb Motorola Droid Discussion
I am not sold on this device yet... the specs seem impressive but I am not sold on the looks of it. Looks to me like a old HTC Touch Pro in a way. Especially the keyboard.
Your thoughts?

I think it looks like crap. I would never own this phone even if it has background apps, I'd rather buy a Pre or wait for Apple to flip the switch.
Also, I think the commercial was really bad. It should have been about the features of the phone and at the end maybe bringing up that the iPhone can't do those things. Not just listing a bunch of things the iPhone can't do and then say "we can". Show me you can! Show me how well you can do it.

I love Android but the only thing is you cannot use all of your memory for apps you only have a set amount allowed (like 100MB) like BlackBerry. The other thing is developing for the iPhone is really easy for developers because there is only one hardware platform. So the apps will always be better for the iPhone because they don't have to develop for it to work on several different phones, just one.

I hope the UI is spectacular because the hardware looks...."Dated" to me. Seems like thy could have "softened" it a bit.
 Looks very "rigid".
