Default Cut and Paste

Has anyone written (or will write) a cut and paste function for the iPhone 3G?

There are some currently painful to use web apps that sort of give you a very limited copy paste... I couldn't tell you where to look because it's never been worth it to me. As for the future, your guess is as good as anyone else's at this point if Apple will add it or some 3rd party developer.

what is so hard about cutting and pasting. If BBerry can do it why can't the superior iPhone do it. Makes no sense to me.

Not hard to do that. Ever wonder why they didn't make the iphone 3G in the first place when the AT&T's 3G network was available back in 2007? They always want to have something they can "improve" on and keep the users interested.
