Best Free SMS Texting App?

I just got my iPhone 3GS and I was wondering what the best free SMS texting app is? There are so many and the reviews for most aren't great. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

I use SMStouch. It works through your email and if you have push email it works just like regular SMS.

There have been other threads about this. You may want to do a search and see what others have already found.
