Hey guys is there any turn by turn GPS programs that yall can recommend that dont have a huge download?

Telenav has almost no download. All the maps are online, but it is $9.99/month.

All the non-subscription GPS apps are around 1GB in size; they will ALL have a huge download time.

Your only other options are to get either Telenav or Gokivo - and yes, both are subscription based.

Otherwise, you can use Google Maps...it's not as nice as say, TomTom, but I hear it's free.

Looks like I spoke too soon. There's a new cheap low-end GPS app called "Roadee." It's 5.4 MB in size. Haven't tried it yet but it looks promising....unfortunately, it also looks very "beta" as well.

i couldn't get tomtom to work, everytime i started it up it would read my location as new york city not calgary, and if i searched for the nearest whatever it was always like 900 km away.
