All the non-subscription GPS apps are around 1GB in size; they will ALL have a huge download time.
Your only other options are to get either Telenav or Gokivo - and yes, both are subscription based. Otherwise, you can use Google Maps...it's not as nice as say, TomTom, but I hear it's free. ![]() |

Looks like I spoke too soon. There's a new cheap low-end GPS app called "Roadee." It's 5.4 MB in size. Haven't tried it yet but it looks promising....unfortunately, it also looks very "beta" as well.
