Does Google Maps App allow this?

when i use Google Maps on my PC browser, i can add locations to "My Maps" where i can save particular points of interest in different areas. for example, i am heading to orlando, FL in 2 weeks for a business trip. i have added several attractions, restaurants, fishing holes...etc to my maps. however, i cannot find a way to view "My Maps" on the iPhone app.

does anyone else know if this is possible? (or something like this in another app). i tried Yelp, but it doesn't necessarily add this feature either. i can bookmark locations, but no cool map features.

i'd like to be able to figure this out for my trip if possible. thanks.

yea that would be a cool feature for google maps on the iPhone...

**Update** Yelp DOES have something like what i'm looking for. i can search for attractions, restaurants, etc. and then "Bookmark" them for later. might be the best i can get. didn't realize Yelp's potential for being more than a dining review app/website. yay!

MotionX GPS Drive allows you to save favorites, and keeps a list of previous searches. I bought it specifically to help me find houses I was shopping for.

Yea I've been using bookmarks on Yelp for awhile, it's pretty awesome..

Uau, thats really cool... but my prefered is EasyTrails GPS that is much better for trekking

umm, yeah. but how does that help me when traveling and wanting to find places to eat, fish, shop, etc.?! EasyTrails GPS is nothing more than an app to track how far/fast/long you have walked, ran, hiked...it does nothing for someone SEARCHING for points of interest in a particular area.

yes, you can share to Google Maps, but all it shows is your 'trail' from where you've run/walked. doesn't give suggestions for dining, doesn't recommend good bars to drink at, doesn't offer anything of relevance other than "look where i went".
