Question regarding App memory

Sorry if this question has been answered but I am having a real problem with my iPhone. According to my summary I have 6.78 gb of apps. When I add up the app space it should only be like 1 gb. What gives?

I really don't want to Restore my phone if I don't have to but is that my only alternative or solution?

Any help would be awesome!
