Default iCab Mobile 1.7 over Safari

Basically from reading all the reviews on the web on possible Iphone web browsers other than Safari. I came down to ICab is probaly the best alternative to web browsing on the Iphone. With Filters, Tabs where you can open web pages at the same time and probaly the 2 better features downloads from the web and fullscreen mode.

But I haven't tried it yet. So is there anyone out there with experience who can comment on Icab vs Safari.

Thanks
Josh

iCab was just updated. 2.0 is definitely better than Safari. The only thing missing is the ability to enter text fields for forum threads.

I'm playing with it now, not sure it's any better than Safari.

The ability to download, open tabs in background and full screen is what does it for me.

You're comparing iCab Mobile with Safari? How about comparing VanillaSurf with Safari? nice browser.
