Inspired by the Crackberry Forums

Every once in awhile I stop by the Crackberry forums just to see what is going on in the blackberry world. I really enjoy the part of the crackberry headers of each post where it shows the model and carrier of phone the poster is using. I think this would be an awesome addition to our forums. It would immediately remove the need for the "which phone are you on?" or "on what carrier?" question when people have issues, as well as just be a nifty thing to have. Anyone else think this is a good idea?

It's useful on there, and it's been useful on T|C and WMExperts cause there are so many devices around. But here we all have...iPhones. And let's face it, there's a very small hardware difference between the 2G, the 3G, and the 3GS. At least that makes a difference when it comes to answering technical questions.

Carrier might be nice though.

Bingo... Right now there are no plans for this to change. Feel free to add your carrier within your signature.

Good to hear everyone responses. I agree that there are much fewer differences between our hardware than blackberry or winmo users. Maybe someday there be enough different iPhones to justify the change. (like when everyone has iPhone minis and itablets and all the other rumor nonsense!) haha
