Thumbs down What's up with new mobile look?

I checked the blog last night from my phone after being away for 2-3 days and the pages have been reformatted. Now you get a full page of of some icons and links and you have to scroll down about a page and a half to get to the entries. That SUCKS.

If that wasn't bad enough, when you go to read the entry you get the same page and a half BS forcing you to scroll down more. That SUCKS.

If that wasn't bad enough, at the end of the aritcle there is nearly a full page of blank area with some bullet points before getting to the comments. That SUCKS.

And if THAT wasn't bad enough, there is no longer the ability from within the entry to click Next or Prev entry. Now you have to click the Back button and start this whole process over again. That TOTALLY SUCKS.

Isn't anyone else seeing this or am I special?

first off, welcome to the TiPb forum! lol

second, i never use the mobile version of TiPb (which i assume is the mobile look you are referring to). i prefer to go with the full version. easier to navigate for me anyway. maybe give that a try over the iPhone optimized version.

I haven't checked the mobile version(s) in some time, but are there two different mobile themes offered on this site, or has that changed recently? Perhaps you're just using the "other" one?

[edit]Actually, that whole multiple mobile themes bit might only apply to the forums section of the site.[/edit]

Um... It looks great to me. None of your complaints are there for me. I actually think it's quite awesome.

Here's how it looks for me

No weird spacing and lots of options at the bottom of each story including go to the next or previous story.

@llofte - That's exactly what I used to get and yes, it's great.

But now it looks like this as of yesterday and today:

You'll have to copy and paste the link because I haven't posted enough to show the picture.

Thumbs up

Alright! Good tip. If you go back and look at my screen shot, you'll see that I had 5 web pages open. I usually have 3-4 always open for places I visit frequently. I closed all of them and then went back to the blog and bingo, it works again!

In doing so, I also learned something I didn't know about the header. There is a little down arrow on the right side of the the "Blog" text. If you click it, it's a drop down of all the stuff I was seeing (formatted much nicer too!).

Alright, now I can continue to watch all the gossipy goodness again.
