Most likely they're still working out the process with Apple, which is why there's nothing about AT&T's plans on Apple's site yet.

Let's hope they come up with a process that actually don't take 10-12 minutes. I would like to see the scan the barcode idea and then finish activating at home thing. If we can get out of the store without having to open all the iPhone boxes, this will certainly cut down on the time. Another good was of doing it is assigning people activation codes that we have to input when we get home.
