App Rating - User generated content

Hey All,

After much searching I can't come to a conclusion on whether i should censor swear words in my app I am about to submit to apple. Or if I have to rate my app 17+ becuase its user generated content (people can enter their own text) in which case I wont have to censor the swear words.

Has anyone produced a user generated content based app &/or know what the rules are (I know they are fuzzy with Apple).

Ahhh the wonders of been confused.
