Yeah that was cool, too bad it is only limited to chinese characters. I wonder if they will eventually make it available for all languages (I hope so, it'll only make the iPhone that much cooler).

Don't you think that if there is a Chinese version, there will be also English one first? but anyway this is a very nice thing and great use to the touchscreen that so far i think that apple didn't use too good.

I read Apple will / did strip out everything but chinese character recognition. Who knows.

I think the keyboard would be more efficient anyways, you'd really need a stylus to write well, and that's not gonna work.

Oh yeah no doubt. I like using the keypad. Still cool to have handwriting recognition though. Maybe there is something greater coming, who knows.
