THIS is what Apple should have launched 2.0 with.

I wouldn't know, no 3G in Maine.

I actually found this interesting:
"I talked with a local ATT rep today who said that by late Fall 2008 Portland (Maine's largest city) should have ATT 3G up and running and that sometime next year Bangor (Maine's second largest city) should have 3G."

My college is in Bangor and this would be epic!

3g signal is stronger for sure. I've always gotten 3-4 bars at home with 3g now I have full bars. So far so good.

It was even earlier to boot.

3g is coming. Great thing about new 3g towers is that they will be upgraded to 3.6 already and more than likely have the 850mhz.

Does your Safari still crash often after the upgrade? Mine does at least once a day and I open multiple sites (haven't upgraded yet, will do it over the weekend).

I'm fine with edge for now, I'm in no hurry to check my email or Digg. And most everywhere I go there's at least one wireless point. So in the small amount of time between my dorm and class, edge is fine.

You're not going to notice increased battery life in a hour. Give it a day or two and people will start commenting about that.

I've only loaded a few pages and no crashes for me.

Haven't had a real chance to test the batter life yet, I will be later on in the day though and post what I found.
