Switzerland started selling iphones about an hour ago. I was there 5 minutes before opening, and there were about 3 people waiting (I think 2 weren't even there for the iphone). Doesn't look like the mad rush from last year is going to happen.

I just got mine. I'm in Cincinnati and I went to the At&t store. There were only 7 of us waiting in line and at 7 they opened up and let us in. I didnt even pre-order mine. I was out the door with my new shiny white iphone 3g S in about 30 mins.

anyone know how to restore your 3g, after you switch over your sim card to the 3 g s?

If it needs a sim card to restore...just switch it back, until it's done.
