i would like to see them announce the next iphone with an OLED screen and a better camera. everything else like say Flash would be nice but only if it didn't kill the battery on the phone. A better battery would be nice and maybe make it a little bit cheaper on the subsidy. oh and with all this news of LTE being tested next year they should make the chipset be compatible with 3G 3.5G and 4G so when it does get released they can just flip a switch in the software.

Not that i beleive we''ll get it all but i think these would be cool
A full OLED screen without a home button. A new software interface A front faceing camera were the home button is now (as to not get smeared by the ear everytime) A faster processor More storage Mulltitasking (Probably on a software update) Flash player |

More than likely:
-4.0" OLED screen running WVGA or 720P HD resolution -Slimmer design -Full Multitasking (3rd party app supported) -512mb system ram -new ARM A9 dual core 45nm processor -5MP Camera w/Apple logo light. -WiFi "N" compatable -Revised UI layout -Possible Adobe flash support. |

I don't expect form factor to change much if at all. There are so many 3rd party pieces that while selling new add-ons is a good thing for the companies it makes users fairly upset.
- 3.5 OLED - 4-5MP camera - faster CPU & GPU - more ram ( probably 512 ) - perhaps new look for the shell - perhaps 3rd party multitasking support - wifi N - updated but nothing "revolutionary" UI changes, giving it a fresh look but giving backwards compatibility to older apps - flash will be around when webkit finishes their work, probably end of 09 early 2010 and could be seen in an OS update for older models as well. |
