Time difference with Outlook

Somehow my iphone registers all my Outlook appointments an hour off unless I enter them into the phone directly. This happens no matter whether I sync it at home or at work. It did not do it originally but started pretty soon after I got it last October. The time on the phone and the computers reads the same--I can't figure it out. I have gone into settings and i have even flown three time zones away and come back--no change in the problem. Any answers out there? I would be really grateful to hear.
