Carriage Returns
I am having problems with recurrent carriage returns during texting. The type screen repeatedly carriage returns despite me typing the space bar only once between words. I repeatedly have to backspace to move the next typed word up a line and frequently the next typed word will again be moved down to the next line. Can I turn off the auto return? Any other suggestions?

you're hitting the carriage return with the edge of your finger. I do this too
