Default iPhone and Lightroom

Every time I plug my phone in to sync it, Lightroom (my photo management tool) is turned on. Why?? I'm sure this isn't complicated but so far I've struck out.

It recognizes the iPhone as a camera.

I'm assuming you're using a Windows PC. If not, someone with a Mac will need to help you.

Windows XP:
  • With your iPhone connected, Open My Computer
  • Right Click on your iPhone, Select Properties
  • Click the Events tab
  • Make sure Select an Event is set to Camera connected
  • Select the Take no action radio button
  • Click Ok
Windows Vista:
  • Open Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, AutoPlay
  • Scroll down until you find your iPhone in the list
  • Change the drop down field for your iPhone to Take no action
  • Click Save
Hope that helps.

I'm thinking he's using Windows too because on a Mac it would probably be image capture that would open. I'm just guessing though.
