Default Restore after Jailbreak = Still Voided Warranty?

Hi all,

I'm just curious if after jailbreaking then completely restoring the phone, the warranty will still be void. Can they tell you've jailbroken even after the restore?

Is it possible? Sure... will they actually dig that deep to find out? No way... especially at a Apple store they will not be able to tell.

My question is related. Does anyone know how easy upgrading firmware will be with the current pwnage tool? I'm worried about jailbreaking, being unable to undue the jailbreak, then not being able to upgrade or getting bricked.

All you do is a restore to original firmware and upgrade. You Just never want to do a restore from a backup while you are jailbroken. Always restore from scratch.

Thanks. I'll give it a go when there is a special app I need.
