Will I loose unlock and jailbreak if I update via iTunes ?

Hello everyone, this is my first post :-)
I bought iPhone with 1.1.3 firmware, its unlocked and jailbroken. The 1.1.3 firmware installer app has very few apps and games and so I want to upgrade to the latest firmware either 2.1 or 2.0. Now, the problem is I don't want to pwan my iPhone, I just want to update the firmware via iTunes without using any pwnage tools.
My question is, will this update via iTunes nullify the unlocked and jailbroken attribute of my iPhone ??

Yes it will. But you can always jailbreak and unlock after you've updated through iTunes. It's gotten much easier since the 1.1.x days.
