So I just jailbroke my phone... (contacts)

I just jailbroke my phone. Everything was backed up to itunes. After the jailbreak when I connect the phone to the computer I get this message: "An iPhone has previously been synced with this computer"

Then I have the options: set up as new iPhone, or Restore from the backup of June 19th.

Any ideas on how to get my contacts back on the phone?

did you sync your contacts to your computer?

and i don't know if i'm right or not, but that backup is just for your settings and personal stuff, so i think a restore from a backup (not the factory restore) will just put the contacts and all that back in.) you may want others to confirm though.

Ok that worked.
I didn't let the backup finish so I lost all my text messages, but I got my contacts. that's all I was worried about. Thanks for the help

Ahh, if only I had read this when I was jailbreaking my iPhone. I lost all of my contacts and had to go through my Yahoo mail account to add everyone back in again. Yeah, it was NOT fun at all!!
