Buy iPhone 3G - get MobileMe for $70?

Aloha everyone,

I read that MobileMe can be bundled with the the purchase of iPhone 3G, and at a 30% savings (only $70). Can anyone verify that option and/or price? I will probably be able to talk my wife into getting it, but if it's 30% cheaper, it'll be that much easier

I was lucky enough that my wife agreed to the phone. She said no to anything other than the extra $10/month for data. Oh well, at least she agreed to the new iPhone hehehe

P.S. I have a trial account that I started with .Mac, but the MobileMe web interface indicates that I have an incorrect username/password combo, even though Mail.app and System Preferences both like what I input. I'm going to have to call 1-800-APL-CARE to get it straightened out - maybe then I can show my wife what I'm missing and she'll pony up the $100/year for MobileMe.
