Hotmail/msn email work on iPhone?

I know in addition to having ActiveSync with Exchange, a user is able to create mail accounts on the 3G iPhone for Yahoo, AOL Gmail, etc
and have that email appear also in their iPhone mailbox.

however--

I cannot seem to be able to sync to any *.msn mail account.

seems like apple may not be playing nice with Hotmail or msn accounts?

Anyone else having difficulty?

I'm assuming you have the free msn account. You need to upgrade your account (I think it is $19.99 a year). Then you will be able to get it working on your iPhone.

nope - I pay for my email account. $9.95 per month.

I can get my email through Outlook and access my online msn

just cannot get hooked up using the mail accounts method.

Anyone is M'soft land have an answer?

What are the Host Name servers for mail if the account is *.msn

Incoming Host Server and
Smtp Server
for an address that is XXX@msn.com

my Outlook connection is using HTTP to connect to a Hotmail server to get my mail.
