Default Exchange Activesync Question

I'm using activesync to sync my email, calendar, and contacts with my company's exchange server. As far as I can tell it works as well as my WinMo 6 phones did, with one exception; Mail I've read on my computer, but not deleted, always shows up as unread on my iphone 3g. Is this normal? is there a setting somewhere that I don't have set right?

I'm running ActiveSync and it performs great. It works just like it did on previous WinMo devices and no problems with email being unread on one device and not the other.

My problem with mail I've read always showing as unread on my phone mysteriously just went away. Everything seems to be perfect now.
