Arrow iTunes auto backup

everytime I plug my phone in iTunes does a full backup which takes quite some time. I haven't been able to find an option to schedule these backups, any guidance? thanks in advance.

Sorry to say there is no way to stop the phone from performing a back up. Just something we have to live with.

Default Erm, I think there is...

Found this online a few weeks back and its worked for me. Just type:

defaults write com.apple.iTunes DeviceBackupsDisabled -bool true

into the terminal and then return. If you want to back up, just change "true" to false in the above.

Hope it helps. Oh and itunes has to be shut down when you're doing it.

That is if you are on a Mac only.
