Safari: No Display annimated gifs???

Apparently Safari can't display animated gif's like this one?

Am I missing some setting or something? Even crappy old Pocket IE would display radar loops...

So Safari can't display animated gif's.....I haven't found a work around yet.

I was able to see animated radar screens using accuweather.com. It was in mobile mode.

Someone send me an animated pic and safari could not open it. I came home and used my pc for it.
