Anyone else notice this? My iPhone tells me that three of my application have updates. Checking through iTunes shows no updates available.
These applications are listed in my iTunes library and viewing the details shows the version in my library is not the most update to date available from the app store. |

I found a couple of threads on the apple discussions sections of their support site. It seems like the updating is very inconsistent at this point. Hopefully it gets better in the next update.
I have also had iTunes tell me that there were updates to applications but the version numbers very identical before and after. |

I've had the same problems. My guess is the mechanism informing our iPhones and iTunes are done separately. I bet if you waited long enough they would show the same updates.
Apple has to be aware of this. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. |
