Thumbs down Existing ATT Customers can't upgrade

What's with existing ATT customers not being able to upgrade to the S without paying top dollar? Seems unfair that newcomers to the iPhone get a better deal than I can. Mmmmmh?

This has been covered in other threads but to give you a answer, if you are currently not eligible for the full subsidy you are the only one to blame. You signed a two year contract and used your subsidy at that point. It's no different with any other phone available on any other carrier. iPhone customers are not special, plain and simple.
