I found a way to upgrade from iphone 3G to 3GS

So I decided to give it a a try with something I did when I had Tmobile. My AT&T account was under my dads name so I called 611 talked to a AT&T rep told them I wanted to put the phone under my name so by doing that they told me to go to the AT&T store to sign some paper about the contract with apple which was not true i ended up getting both of the contracts my dad had terminated and was able to purchase the iPhone 3GS as a upgrade and now I also have another line that is able to get an upgrade so I hope this will help some of the people that have not bought it for full price.

hmm, kinda tough to read, but I'll see if I have it right. You basically switched your dad's contract to your name? Are the phone #'s still the same? My sister is in a similar situation and will have to wait until sept to upgrade...

Yes the numbers are still the same nothing changed besides the name the phones are under
