Default $99 a month plan... Elegible?

I read about being elegible for an upgrade after twelve months if you have a 99 or more plan.... Question is.... Does this 99 include the 30 dollars for data???
I have a $60 plan plus $30 of data, that's only $90 but I would increase it to be elegible in 12 months for a new phone.....
Any inputs???

Yes, everything but tax counts towards the $100+ figure. So spending an extra $120 a year will get you a full upgrade after 12 months. So that will save you $80 over the $200 att charges for early upgrade.
