Default Q: Overage minutes out of control!

1. On September 15th, I upgraded my iPhone to a more expensive plan; from 450 to 900 anytime minutes, and to unlimited nights and weekends.

2. I was told this would take effect on September 22.

3. On Sept 22, I began making regular calls to contacts with AT&T and Verizon.

4. The AT&T minutes are appropriated correctly, however the Verizon minutes are not accumulating under the "Anytime" category and instead are accumulating under "Overage" minutes. I now have over a hundred overage minutes.

What is going on?

I should mention as well that I owe Verizon 220 USD and will be paying that shortly. I wonder if Verizon has something to do with this.

Help appreciated.

Default more info

this customer had the same problem:

"Last month, I switched online to a larger calling plan. When the billing cycle reset, all of my voice minutes went to overages, even though my account was freshly reset to full minutes.

I called CS several times. Their response was similar: "it takes time for the computer to reset the minutes at the end of a billing cycle. Please wait 5 business days and call me in the morning!" After about 3 days, I checked online and the overage charges converted over to minutes of use.

Lesson learned: keep track of your usage and stay on top of CS
".
