Thumbs up Finally got some 3G coverage!

After moving from Miami, FL to Freeland, MI, I had a different phone with AT&T (samsung eternity). Didn't have an internet plan but I had 3G coverage all over Miami. But this June, I moved to Freeland, MI to start fresh and got a 3GS but right in the center of a tri-city area, 3G coverage was no where near and the EDGE was decent, but kept getting bad reception through calls and such. Now that they upgraded their towers which I'm right between 2 of them, I now have 3G coverage all round which is sweet since I always needed the internet for surfing and to run online apps better while I'm on the go. Call quality also had a great improvement while on EDGE & 3G since this upgrade. Now I have a 3GS phone and not a 2GS lol.

So if anyone heard if 3G coverage was coming soon to they're hometown, turn on your 3G and check, maybe they upgrade their towers over there as well.

Congratulations. All I need now is for AT&T to turn up their speeds to 7.2 mbps here in Houston. We already have our 850 Mhz spectrum.

AT&T has been promising 3G coverage in my hometown, Brattleboro, VT since January. It is now the middle of October and still no 3G anywhere in Vermont!!!

Does anyone know of AT&T's plans for network upgrades? Other than their site which only states that they plan on upgrading VT to 3G, no time frame.

We just got 3G in Appleton/Green Bay, WI area last week. It's a start, but where I would need it the most (in between the two cities), still no 3G. Hopefully soon!
