iPhone to get car accident details? I hope so :)
Google Maps traffic now provides car accident details | When Will Apple?
Just found out about this car accident info added to google maps. I speculated last year about walking directions being added to the iPhone (iPhone 2.2 to have walking / public trans directions) and then they were. So I'm hoping my luck sticks this time around as this would be really great tool to have on the iPhone. Do you think this would be a good tool? Vote in the poll attached to this post!

Long as they are accurate.
I used to have Verizon so used VZNavigator often, they would say "accident up ahead in such and such miles" but NEVER have I actually seen one.

Seems accurate.
My mom called me as she knows I'm a nerd and asked me why traffic was so slow. She was driving on the blocked road (pictured above) at the time of the accident and confirmed that they were directing everyone to drive on the shoulder as both lanes were blocked. Plus, she said saw someone on a stretcher which confirms the victims in the notes.
