Default iphone sync and Windows 7

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit from Windows 7 RC 32 bit. My iphone no longer syncs and mobileme is having problems. It appears that iTunes 64 bit and Windows 7 64 bit have issues.

Has anyone found a work around?

what are you trying to sync?

between mobileme and itunes, windows 7 does not have an email client to sync to. also i dont think mobileme desktop client is updated to see the crappy web based mail client ms is pushing out.

I had the same issue. Go to your device manager when the iphone is attached and remove the driver. Reinstall it and you should be ok.

I'm having the same issue. Crystus, which driver in the Device Manager that you were referring to? When I plugged my phone in, there are two iPhone drivers showing up in the Device Manager:
- Portable Devices/Apple iPhone
- Universal Serial Bus controllers/Apple Mobile Device USB Driver

Same here. Win7 pro x64 + iTunes seems to work fine. I don't use MobileMe though.

Hello I recently upgraded from vista 32 bits to seven 32 bits and I have a problem.

In fact, before I was on 32 bit vista and windows mail was my email program.
But I also use Outlook 2007 only for adress book ,calendar notes in order to sync with my various mobile know Blackberries and iPhone.

But since I upgraded vista 32 bit to seven I met the following problem :
I said that windows mail is my mail client but suddenly when I sync my contacts and calendar notes via itunes 9 it tells me that there is no mail client by default and need is that I indicate that my outlook 2007 software by default.

But if I do this, the sync is not a problem however if I right-click a file to send to someone that will not get windows mail and I see in the task manager it launch outlook.exe .

Therefore I aske you because strangely I have never encountered this problem in vista even though the configuration was the same and oulook 2007 was not configured as my mail client by default.

Hoping you can enlighten me.
Best regards
