Can't find mp3's on my Iphone

Hello everyone,
I have an Iphone for about one week now. I really like it. Nice apps, low price, fast wifi, mail etc.
One of the main things I bought it for is to use it as an Ipod. I have a classic 80Gb ipod but I wanted an Iphone as well.
now the problem.
I tunes won't load the mp3's I have on my pc to my Iphone out of the librairy. The way I do it with the Ipod. these mp3's are allmost my own ripped cd's.
Apps from the Appsstore are going fine. free and paid. 3rd party progs won't come one the Iphone to. progs from Cydia are working.

What's going wrong?

The Iphone is a 3gs, 16GB, fw 3.1.2., jailbreak Blackra!n. latest Itunes.

Does it give you a error message? Do you have Music checked off in iTunes for your iPhone?

No,
in the status bar you can see it is busy, it takes a while, but when it's finished it looks like my Ipod. nothing wrong.
in the collered status bar at the botom, there is only a little coloured piece for a podcast but still no Mp3's.
Should it combine whith my Ipod in the same Itunes, library and on the same pc?

Put all the music you want on your iPhone into a Playlist and sync the playlist with your iPhone and see if that works.
