Default Exchange Account through School

Hey there everyone.
I've got an issue with my exchange account through my college being able to sync with my phone. I know there's not anything blocking me using it because they told us to come in if we had issues setting up a sync, and they just didn't know why mine wouldn't.
The one thing that I was thinking might make a difference is that I have a 3.1.2 jailbreak, but I don't see why that'd make anything an issue.
Whenever I try to set it up, it lets me fill out my information, and it's 100% correct, then it sends me to the page with everything plus the server name now. I've tried the m.outlook.com as well as the website that it resolves to when I use their login hyperlink.

Am I doing something wrong? Or am I out of luck?

Thanks,
Jake

Make sure they give you the actual exchange server name (not m.outlook.com) and that you can actually use it with an exchange client, rather than OWA (Outlook Web Access) which is a different animal altogether.

The website resolves to bl2prd0102.outlook.com
That is what I am supposed to use from the address that resolves to bl2prd0102.outlook.com/owa with https:// at the beginning (it won't let me put a url in my post yet because I'm under 10 posts).
Is that what you mean? I'm not the most tech savvy, but I can usually get by. This stuff is way over my head so thanks for all your help.

That /owa you see at the end means it's Outlook Web Access. That means you can go to the address on your browser. If you want to set it up to download mail like you would in Outlook when you're connected to the school server, you'll need the server address from tech support at the school.

Sorry, I'm still somewhat confused. I want it to sync with my email app just like I had it with mobile me. Is there any way you could walk me through whatever I'm doing wrong?
Thanks

I take that back. I re-read your post and I think I get it. If I get the server address from school I can have it do what I'm talking about in my last post correct?

Correct. Providing they are willing to give it to you. I work for a public school system and they will not share server settings with anyone outside of the central office. So that means that my supervisor can get her school email on her iPhone, but a lowly teacher like me has to use web access.

Default Fixed

So I fixed it now. My mobile me account was expiring and all I had to do was delete it from my phone's sync and I could add the exchange account. Thank you for all your help. Have a great week.
