Another good site, to download ringtones in the iphone format is Myxertones...

Myxer - Explore

I've used it for a long time on for my Treo, haven't had any problems at all.

Just downloaded and this is the best ringtone program out. Its definitely worth the seen buck investment. The cool thing about it is you dont have to rename anything very very user friendly. I made a ringtone in about a minute no exaggeration.

What type of computer are you using? Windows or Mac?

Try iToner- easy and awsome! Free version can get a little anoying but the full is well worth tv price. And it's pretty seamless to use. Just my two cents but paying a few bucks for a quality product seems like a better idea than having to muddle through a bunch of steps to get a ringtone. With this you can create in GarageBand and sync to your phone- or just use whole songs.

I got fed up with waiting for ringtones in the UK store, as I'm on Windows, I couldn't use GarageBand. Then I found a great site, . Not only does it have a lot of ringtones, it also allows you to create your own. It's all set up to work with iTunes and the iPhone, once you've added ringtones to your locker, sync it with iTunes. The files appear as podcasts in iTunes so you need to sync the Nakko podcast with your iPhone - easy and free.

I second the use of iRinger. VERY easy to use, and does the work for you by sending it to iTunes. All you gotta do is sync. Has all the features of a paid program but it's FREE. Here's the site:
