Need help unlocking 1st Gen iPhone after upgrading to 2.0 Firmware
hi there all i got a i phone last year and unlocked it myself just up dated itunes to 7.7 and up dated to new v2.0 and it locked the phone i tryed ten times to unlock it and no success iam over in england and i cant get the phone to work on the orange network a gsm newtork i had to revrt to old itunes and put the phone on the 1.1.4 software and still no look please can some one help

I'm afraid you are stuck without a phone until new software is released for the 2.0 firmware.
*Sorry didn't see that you tried downgrading the firmware... hmm I would of thought that would have done the trick.

Are you getting a error or does it complete the whole process? Also what application are you using for the unlock?

yes getting 1601 error message i have tryed two types of un locking software one is iliberty and the other is ziphone 5 wish unlocked last time all in need to to is for the phone to reconisie the porvider
